Prozesse

Project planning

Our project engineers and technicians accompany each project from A to Z. After the transfer from sales to project planning, the production documents are prepared. This includes defining the functional requirements, selecting the components to be used and finally drawing the electrical diagram. The PLC programme and the visualisation is developed in the further course with the help of a comprehensive library.

In the factory test, hardware and software come together for the first time. The control cabinets created by the production team are installed in our workshop, wired and, as far as possible, connected to the external components such as motors, signal boards and other sensors, and to power. This is followed by an intensive test of all functions. It is only in this factory test phase that the project engineer has the complete system available on a few square metres.

After the training for the customer has been completed in the factory, the system is packed and transported to its destination. The installation team assembles and cables the cabinets and sensors on site. This is where the system is started up in stages. All functions are thoroughly checked and approved in an internal review before the relevant authority grants an operating licence.

After successful start of operation by the customer, the project is handed over to Sisag customer service. This includes the completion of the extensive documentation and the placement of newly used components and software.

Development

The continuous further development of our products to meet the changing needs of our customers is deeply rooted in Sisag’s DNA. We cover the entire range of the required competencies – from electronic development to product design and classic software development using agile methods. This also includes the sustainable documentation and introduction of the products in-house as well as in the projects on site at our customers’ premises.

Production

Our high-performance production uses the production documents from the project planning department to create the control cabinets for the ropeway and road transport business units. The range covers smaller distribution boxes, complex control cabinets and large power cabinets. Our electronics department manufactures, tests and repairs our self-developed electronic products. The provision and interconnection of the manufactured control cabinets for factory testing is just as much a task of production as dismantling and packaging up to the ramp of Sisag.

Installation and assembly

Our installation team assembles and cables the control cabinets and the sensors on the system on site. The work usually takes place in the most beautiful places in the mountains and increasingly often also in urban regions. Not always easy to reach, but always exciting and in the great outdoors.

Customer service

Sisag customer service is there for you around the clock. Our 24x7x365 on-call schedule is primarily ensured by the customer service staff, supported by the technical office. The team performs a huge balancing act over all the technologies of the last 25 years and is continually being further trained to handle new products. As part of preventive maintenance and inspections, Sisag's systems are made ready for the coming season with the customers, which keeps faults in operation to a minimum. Should a fault occur, or even just a question about operation, the handy remote maintenance team can help quickly and easily.
